League of Moro Women Organizations, Inc.
Formerly known as the Bangsamoro Islamic Women Auxiliary Brigade (BIWAB), the League of Moro Women Organizations, Inc. is a trailblazing women’s group in BARMM. Once formed in the context of conflict, its members, whom are former female combatants. have since laid down their arms to embrace leadership, and entrepreneurship.
Through the creation of the League of Moro Women Business Marketing Cooperative, LMWOI now empowers its members to build sustainable livelihoods. From leading small enterprises to producing local goods, these women embody the spirit of transformation. proving that peace can be both purposeful and productive.

Bagsak Pilihan Women’s Association
Based in Sulu, the Bagsak Pilihan Women’s Association champions community-based entrepreneurship and sustainable production. The group equips women with training, access to resources, and market opportunities to improve their economic standing and strengthen their local industries.
BPWA members are known for their innovation and craftsmanship, particularly through products like their sweet and spicy seaweed chips — a symbol of how creativity can drive local progress. Through collaborations such as Gifts of Hope, BPWA continues to empower women to become active contributors to their families, their communities, and the broader Mindanao economy.

Women of War (WOW) Matanog
WoW Matanog brings together women from all eight barangays of Matanog, Maguindanao del Norte, many of whom were widows or victims of conflict. They empower women to rebuild their lives through education, training, and livelihood projects.
